For this project, I was asked to perform a content audit for an anonymous client and develop a content strategy based on my findings. In order to maintain confidentiality, the client will be referred to as Client A. My team and I evaluated more than 30 hours of content and researched Client A’s competitors in order to produce these two reports.

Goals

Client A asked my team and I to perform this work ahead of a planned rehaul of their content. We were asked to evaluate their content based on a list of concerns that the client had, and then synthesize our findings into strategy suggestions for the future.

Deliverables

In our content audit we identified a few main problems with the client’s content base: accessibility, visual design, and interactive feature functionality.

In our strategic roadmap, we suggested a few ways that the client could manage these issues during and after the content rehaul. These strategies included a quality control policy, a mechanism for user feedback, and a semi-regular usability test to ensure that content met the needs of the users.
